The Health-Welfare Committee of Khwaja Yunus Ali University (KYAU), under the proactive leadership of its Convener, Prof. Dr. Fazle Raabbi Shakil Ahmed, successfully completed the mandatory routine health checkups for all newly enrolled first-year, first-semester students of the Spring 2026 semester.

The health screening program was conducted from April 29 to May 7, 2026, following a structured schedule across all academic departments to ensure smooth and efficient execution. The process began on April 29 with the Department of English, followed by the Departments of Law and Microbiology on April 30. The screening continued on May 4 with the engineering disciplines, including CSE, MTE, and EEE. The Department of Pharmacy underwent checkups on May 5, while the Department of Business Administration (DBA) and the BCBT Department completed their sessions on May 6 and May 7 respectively.

The initiative was designed to establish a baseline health profile for newly admitted students, ensuring early identification of any health concerns and promoting overall student well-being. It also reflects the university’s strong commitment to maintaining a healthy academic environment and supporting student welfare alongside academic development.

The successful completion of the program was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the Health-Welfare Committee members, who ensured proper coordination, discipline, and on-ground execution throughout the entire schedule. Their teamwork and commitment enabled the smooth implementation of the health screening process across all departments without disruption.

This initiative highlights KYAU’s continued focus on student health, safety, and holistic development as part of its institutional responsibilities.
