The Department of Microbiology at Khwaja Yunus Ali University successfully organized the Microbiology Quiz Competition 2026 on May 09, 2026, in Room 211 of the Administrative Building, Khwaja Yunus Ali University. The event was designed to encourage academic excellence, strengthen subject knowledge, and foster a competitive learning environment among students.

The theme of the quiz was “Advanced Microbiology.” Participants from different academic batches took part in the event, which covered a wide range of advanced microbiological concepts, including microbial physiology, molecular microbiology, immunology, medical microbiology, and recent developments in the field. The quiz provided students with an opportunity to test their knowledge, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities in a structured academic setting.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across multiple batches and created a vibrant atmosphere of learning and healthy academic competition. Following the evaluation process, Md. Amirul Islam Khan (19^th Batch) secured First Place, Gopal Sikder (16^th Batch) achieved Second Place, and Sadia Parvin Prity (17^th Batch) earned Third Place. In recognition of their outstanding performances, the three winners were awarded commemorative crests and certificates. The Department of Microbiology also congratulates all participants for their enthusiasm, dedication, and active involvement, which contributed significantly to the success of the event.
