The Department proudly announces the participation of its research teams at the International Conference on Electrical, Computer and Communication Technologies (ECCT 2026), held at Dhaka International University from May 7–9, 2026.

Students including Shimanto Kumar, Emo, and others from Batch 14 represented the department with impactful research in Artificial Intelligence and Medical Imaging.

They presented two innovative works:

• “HybridCNN: An Attention-Enhanced Explainable Deep Learning Approach for Multi-Class Lung Disease Classification from Chest X-Ray Images”
• “HybridMV-FL: A Privacy-Preserving Multi-View Transformer with Anatomy-Specific Learning for Musculoskeletal Abnormality Detection”

These studies incorporate Explainable AI, Federated Learning, and advanced deep learning techniques to enhance medical diagnosis while ensuring data privacy.

Both works were supervised by Md Sadi Al Huda, Lecturer, Department of CSE, KYAU, whose guidance was instrumental in the research outcomes.

This achievement reflects the department’s growing strength in AI-driven healthcare research and its commitment to global research engagement. The department congratulates all participants for their outstanding contribution and success.
