The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Khwaja Yunus Ali University (KYAU) successfully organized a highly impactful seminar titled “Fundamentals of Cybersecurity.” The event was conducted with vibrant participation from students and faculty members, creating an engaging academic atmosphere.

The program began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a welcome speech from the Honorable Dean of the School of Science and Engineering (SSE), Prof. Dr. Mohammad Shahed Akond, who emphasized the importance of cybersecurity in today’s digital world. The distinguished resource person, Dr. Md. Maruf Hassan (Associate Professor, Southeast University), was warmly welcomed with a floral reception by the university leadership, including the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Dean of SSE, and Head of the CSE Department.

Dr. Maruf Hassan delivered an insightful and interactive session based on his 18+ years of experience and international certifications, providing valuable knowledge on core cybersecurity principles and real-world applications.
