The Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology (BCBT) at Khwaja Yunus Ali University (KYAU) is proud to announce that A. M. Sadik, a 3rd year, 2nd semester student, successfully participated in the 6th International Young Biotechnologists Congress 2026. The event was organized by Network of Young Biotechnologists of Bangladesh with support from National Institute of Biotechnology (NIB) and BGI, and held at the Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban at Dhaka University.
This full-day international congress featured plenary sessions, entrepreneurship discussions, research presentations, and policy dialogues covering key areas such as microbial genomics, infectious diseases, human genetics, and precision medicine. These sessions provided participants with valuable insights into current trends in biotechnology.
A major highlight of the event was the poster presentation session, where A. M. Sadik presented his research titled “In Silico Design of a Multi-Epitope Subunit Vaccine Candidate Against Bordetella hinzii Using Immunoinformatics Approaches.” His work attracted significant interest from participants, judges, and researchers, fostering meaningful scientific discussion and knowledge exchange.
The congress also served as an excellent platform for networking with students, researchers, and professionals from various institutions.
