Md. Moniruzzaman, Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at Khwaja Yunus Ali University (KYAU), has been awarded a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree by the Department of Finance, University of Rajshahi.

His thesis, titled "Do Determinants of Dividend Policy Affect Stock Price Volatility of Listed Companies in Bangladesh?" was completed under the supervision of Professor Dr. A.H.M. Ziaul Haq of the same department.

The study examines the relationship between dividend policy and stock price volatility among listed companies in Bangladesh, an important area of corporate finance and capital market research. It highlights how dividend-related financial decisions can help to explain stock market behaviour.

The degree marks a significant milestone in Md.  Moniruzzaman's academic and professional career and reflects his engagement with advanced research in the field of finance.

Business Administration Department, KYAU, congratulated Moniruzzaman on the achievement and acknowledged Professor Haq's guidance and supervision throughout the research. The university wished him continued success in teaching, research and future scholarly work.
