Khwaja Yunus Ali University (KYAU) organized an educational outreach program in 1st September 2026 among several colleges as part of the observance of the 14th death anniversary of the founder of Khwaja Yunus Ali University, Dr. M. M. Amjad Hossain. A team of teachers from KYAU visited the colleges to engage students in an educational program highlighting the life, vision, and contributions of the university’s founder. A total of 479 students participated in the program from three colleges located in Sirajganj: Government Akbar Ali College, Kazipur Govt. Mansur Ali College, and Government Begum Nurunnahar Tarkabagish Honours College. As part of the event, a 15-minute documentary on the life and contributions of Dr. M. M. Amjad Hossain was screened for the students. Following the documentary screening, the students took part in a 15-question multiple-choice quiz competition using OMR answer sheets. The competition aimed to inspire students to learn about the life and contributions of Dr. M. M. Amjad Hossain while encouraging academic curiosity and participation in extracurricular activities. Three students were selected as winners based on their performance in the competition. The visiting team expressed appreciation to the college authorities, teachers, and students for their active participation and cooperation in making the program successful. The initiative also highlighted the commitment of KYAU to strengthening educational engagement and academic collaboration with colleges in the region.
