The Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology (BCBT), Khwaja Yunus Ali University (KYAU) organized a farewell program in honor of Mr. Rubait Hasan, Assistant Professor, BCBT, as he prepares to begin a new academic and research journey in Japan.

Mr. Hasan has been awarded the prestigious MEXT Scholarship 2026 to pursue his PhD studies at the Institute of Science Tokyo, Japan. His achievement marks an important milestone in his academic career and reflects his commitment to advanced research and scholarly development.

The farewell program was graced by Prof. Emeritus Dr. Hossain Reza, Advisor, KYAU; Prof. Dr. Ranajit Kumar Shaha, Proctor, KYAU; and Dr. Md. Tariqul Islam, Head, Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, along with faculty members and students of the department. The participants expressed their appreciation for Mr. Hasan’s contributions to teaching and departmental activities and extended their best wishes for his future academic endeavors.
