The Microbe's Club, under the supervision of the Department of Microbiology, Khwaja Yunus Ali University (KYAU), successfully organized Microbiology Sports Day 2026 on July 28, 2026. The event was held with the objective of promoting physical fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and stronger bonds among students through a variety of recreational and competitive activities.

The day-long program featured a wide range of indoor games for both male and female students, creating an inclusive and enthusiastic environment for participation. A major attraction of the event was the intra-department football match, which showcased remarkable teamwork, discipline, and competitive spirit among the students. The activities encouraged students from different academic batches to interact beyond the classroom, strengthening friendship and collaboration within the department.

The program was conducted under the guidance of Md. Babul Aktar, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Microbiology, with the active participation and support of all faculty members of the department. Their presence and encouragement greatly contributed to the success of the event.

At the conclusion of the Sports Day, crests and certificates were presented to the winners of the respective events in recognition of their outstanding performances. The Department of Microbiology also congratulated all participants for their enthusiastic involvement and commendable sportsmanship, which made the event both enjoyable and memorable.
