The Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology (BCBT), Khwaja Yunus Ali University (KYAU), proudly celebrated the outstanding academic achievement of Mr. Munna Kumar Poddar, Lecturer of the department, who has secured a fully funded PhD scholarship at New Mexico State University (NMSU), USA. He will pursue his doctoral studies in the Graduate Program in Chemistry.

To recognize his achievement and formally bid him farewell, the department organized a farewell and recognition program attended by faculty members and students. The event was marked by gratitude, appreciation, and warm memories as colleagues and students reflected on Mr. Poddar’s valuable contributions to the department.

As a token of recognition for his dedicated service, the department presented him with a commemorative crest. Mr. Poddar served as a Lecturer for 3 years and 11 months and also carried out responsibilities as Programme Coordinator for more than six months. During his tenure, he contributed significantly to teaching, student mentoring, academic development, and departmental administration.

Faculty members praised his sincerity, professionalism, and commitment to academic excellence, while students expressed appreciation for his guidance and encouragement throughout their academic journey.
