Department of Computer Science & Engineering successfully organized an insightful and hands-on workshop titled "How AI Changed Software Engineering." The event provided students with an excellent opportunity to explore how Artificial Intelligence is transforming modern software engineering practices—from AI-assisted coding and automated testing to intelligent debugging, deployment, and real-world development workflows.
We were honored to have Dip Chowdhury, Software Engineer at Zeuz (Isara), Waterloo, Canada, as our respected resource person. Despite joining remotely, he delivered an engaging and highly interactive session, sharing valuable industry knowledge, practical demonstrations, and real-world experiences that inspired our students to embrace the future of AI-driven software development.
The workshop was filled with hands-on activities, meaningful discussions, and practical learning experiences, enabling participants to understand how AI tools are reshaping the software engineering landscape and enhancing developer productivity.
A heartfelt thanks goes to all our respected faculty members whose continuous guidance, encouragement, and dedicated efforts made this event a great success. Their unwavering support—from planning and coordination to execution—ensured that every aspect of the workshop was organized smoothly and professionally. We are sincerely grateful for their valuable contributions and commitment to creating impactful learning opportunities for our students.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to every participant who joined the workshop with enthusiasm, actively engaged in the sessions, and contributed to making the event lively and successful. Your curiosity, dedication, and passion for learning made the workshop even more meaningful.
Together, we continue to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning as we prepare ourselves for the rapidly evolving world of technology.
